lotus flower [meaning];

As you could notice, my url name is fiore di loto (with and extra t because it said that url was already taken.) which is lotus flower in italian.

I like this flower a lot. Why is that?
I'll tell you. I became curious about this flower when my mom and I went to buy some adornments for our house. There was this little lotus flower made of glass, it was beautiful and I got enchanted with it. We bought it and after that I searched it's meaning.

The lotus flower grows in muddy, dirty water. She emerges from it. That's what it gave it the meaning. She rises and blooms above the dirt, becoming an enlightening flower. I relate it to finding a little hope between the darkest times, or difficulties.

This apparently insignificant flower teach us something valuable, no matter what the problems, the tribulations are, we can always find a way out, and like the lotus flower emerge from them. Showing them that they can never be stronger than we are, that we will always be above them, or trying to find our way out of them.

This blog will basically be about everything well, almost.
As a teenager I thoughts it will be a great idea to share my thought with people like me. Teenagers. People who have a long life ahead of them. A life full of sadness, happiness, funny moments, epic experiences, doubts, twisted feelings. At the end, we are a different but at the same time, interesting species. Our minds, our way of thinking is different, rare, unique. That's what makes us who we are. We are loud, shy, happy, even lonely at times. But let me tell you something, I'm loving every single second that passes, because life, life has just begun.
